Rescue Diver : CHF 850.-

The PADI Rescue Diver course if often the favourite training of the divers, who learn how to prevent and handle the problems that may happen to themselves and their buddies.

This demanding and rewarding training is based on techniques acquired during previous courses, allowing the learning of how to handle problematic situations that may occur while diving or at the surface as well as properly react in case of emergency.

Prerequisites:

  • To be at least 15 years old
  • Good health (medial certificate mandatory)
  • Being certified Advanced Open Water Diver or having an equivalent certificate
  • Being certified Emergency First Response or an equivalent certificate during the last 2 years before the course

The course covers:

  • The self-rescue theory
  • The methods for recognising and handling other diver’s stress
  • The urgency material and how to use it
  • Saving divers who are in panic
  • Saving divers who are unconscious

The course comprises:

  • The theoretical formation for assimilating the knowledge to handle and control the problems that may occur
  • Several diving in a controlled environment (swimming pool) for trusty exercising in a more enjoyable environment
  • Several diving in a natural environment for improving rescue techniques in real diving conditions
  • Emergency First Response certification

Scuba gear used:

  • Base scuba diving equipment, including a diving computer and the accessories indicated by the instructor

The price includes:

  • Inscription fees
  • School fees
  • The equipment and the specific diving material lent by the school
  • The number of dives required until master the required exercises (in swimming pool and lake)
  • The license

The price does not include:

  • The mandatory medical visit
  • The fins, mask and snorkel, mandatory during the 1st course
  • The gloves and boots
